Abstract:
Album contains 87 black and white photos, captioned in English, of Tientsin (now Tianjin), Nanking (now Nanjing), the Hai
and Yangtze Rivers, Taku Bar Port, and Peitaiho. Album most likely belonged to an American or British man living abroad in
China. Images feature sporting events - hockey, tennis; rivers, boats, docks, ships and shipboard views; buildings, including
country clubs, mess halls, and the tomb of Dr. Sun Yet Sen; scenic views. Also several loose photos of a costume party, fishing
trip, and various other subjects.
